President of New Edubiase Football Club, Abdul Salam Yakubu has expressed his disappointment in the Ghana Football Association boss, Kwesi Nyantakyi’s decision of sacking his vice George Afriyie.
A release earlier from the camp of the GFA revealed that vice President of the association George Afriyie has been released from his post as reported by www.kyfilla.com.
Speaking to Accra based Asempa FM, the renowned administrator believes the current situation will affect Ghana football and needs keen attention .
“I’m very disappointed in Nyantakyi’s decision to sack his vice
“The current issue is not good for Ghana football and it will affect us badly”
However, Abdul Salam continued that, the decision will not affect George Afriyie’s decision of contesting for the 2019 Ghana Football Associatin’s presidential seat.
“This particular decision will not affect his [ George Afriyie] aim of contesting in the 2019 FA elections”, He added.
