[ads5]Spice FM, a subsidiary of Focus 1 Media Group have finally relocated to their new building at Plot 504 in Fijai, a suburb in Takoradi of the Western Region.
Spice FM alongside sister-station Beach FM have been operating from the Adjumakoman Building on the Sekondi-Takoradi road close to the Takoradi Technical University for the past eleven years.[ads3]
The 91.9 dial relocated to their new building at Fiaji months ago after almost eleven years in the Adjumakoman building.
The station owned by astute businessman Mr. Kwame Adu Mante is the oldest brand of the Focus 1 Media Group who operate other stations like Beach FM (Takoradi), Orange FM (Kumasi) and Pluzz FM in Accra.[ads2]
Ace broadcasters like Kuntu Blankson, Joseph Mensah Oti-Asirifi, Aminu Zylla (late) are all former employees of Spice FM. The station currently boast of Western Region’s finest entertainment brodcaster Yoofi Eyeson, Adwoa Nyamewaa Papabi; who is touted as the queen of afternoon radio, enterprising sportscasters like Kyei Baffour, Abaido Abednego and fast rising disc jockeys like DJ Magnus and DJ Storm.[ads1]
The station is one of the biggest media brands in the Western Region with large audience.
As usual Kyfilla.com toured the new studio of Spice FM and we were astonished with what we saw. Works are still ongoing for the final completion of the studio.
