Alfred Takyi Mensah, an employee at Ghanaian media firm, Media General has earned a nomination in this year’s edition of the Western Radio and Television Personality Awards.
The enterprising sportscaster has been nominated in the best sports commentator of the year category following his exploits at Connect FM (Media General subsidiary in the Western Region) in the year under retrospect.

The awards is organized by Ex-One Entertainment and seeks to honour media personalities in the Western Region who have worked extremely hard in the year.
Alfred Takyi Mensah popularly known in the media circles as Alfredo will be competing with other notable nominees for the accolade during the awards night set for a yet to be announced date.

Alfred Takyi Mensah is currently with Onua FM of the Media General family in Accra after leaving Connect FM in August this year.
