[ads5]The main opposition party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have been booed by some residents in Swedru in the Central Region during Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang six-day tour in the region.
The vice Presidential candidate of the NDC for the forthcoming general elections, Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang embarked on a six-day tour in the region on September 20, 2020 to interact with the inhabitants of the regio and to sell the NDC’s manifesto to the people ahead of the upcoming general elections.[ads4]
Though the tour was successful, a video going viral on social media divulges the NDC being booed by some residents of Swedru while Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang’s convoy passes by.
It could be heard from the video, the inhabitants of the town shouting and chanting the four more for Nana mantra while Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang’s convoy passes by.[ads3]
It can not be established whether they are supporters of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) but it could be heard from the video the four more for Nana mantra thus endorsing President Akufo-Addo.
