[ads1]As part of its mandate of coordinating the packaging and distribution of food and other aid to people in developing nations to relieve hunger, US based Rise Against Hunger partnered Ghanaian NGO, Future Child of Africa Foundation to donate to two institutions in the Western Region.
The two non-governmental organizations donated food consumables to Charles Angel Academy at Anoe, a suburb in Sekondi as well as New Convent and Divine Preparatory School and Orphanage Home at Mpohor all in the Western Region.
Aside the donations, the two non-governmental organizations fed over 250 pupils of the two institutions with cooked meals and fortified rice in separate event as well as donating to 60 parents.
This forms part of Future Child of Africa Foundation and Rise Against Hunger Worldwide agreement to feed orphanage homes and the poor in the society for the next ten years as they quest to relieve hunger in Ghana and Africa at large.
Future Child of Africa Foundation is headed by the General Overseer of God’s Power Ministry Prophet Gilbert Andayene Akari as the Chief Executive Officer. The foundation was registered in 2019 with its mission and Vision based on the Sustainable Development Goals 2 and 4 which is to promote inclusive and equitable quality education and life long learning opportunities for all children.
It works with US based Rise Against Hunger with a task of relieving hunger in Ghana by 2030.The Foundation is located in Kojokrom in Sekondi of the Western Region.
