The Parliamentary candidate for Bantama constituency on the ticket of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Francis Asenso-Boakye has said his party is targeting ninety-five percent (95%) votes at the Constituency in the December polls.
According to the Deputy Chief of Staff, President Akufo-Addo has done magnificent job since assuming the presidential seat in 2017 and believes the President deservedly deserves another term in office.
He stated that considering what President Akufo-Addo has done in office particularly for the Bantama constituency, the constituents have to vote massively for the NPP, this time around not 88% but 95%.[ads2]
“Bantama is known as one of the Constituencies that have NPP at heart. The NPP had 88% in the last elections but due to the good works of President Akufo-Addo, the party is targeting 95% of votes in the upcoming general elections”, Asenso-Boakye said when addressing a huge crowd at a rally held in the Constituency.
He implored Ghanaians to be vigilant by not swallowing the empty promises being catapulting by the NDC flagbearer John Dramani Mahama since he did nothing better for the country when he was the president of the republic.[ads3]
President Akufo-Addo who was also at the rally called on the constituents to vote huge for the NPP for more development in the Constituency.
This was part of President Akufo-Addo’s tour to the Ashanti Region.
