Affable sportscaster Solomon Amankwah has been crowned the best sports presenter of the year.
The Kyzz FM employee was bestowed the honour at the 2020 edition of the Western Region Radio and Television Personality Awards held last night.[ads2]
Solomon Amankwah otherwise known in the media circles as the ‘Superman’ beat other notable nominees to clinch award.
The Western Region Radio and Television Personality Awards is organized by Ex-One Entertainment which seeks to honour hardworking media personalities in the Western Region from the area of sports, entertainment, disc jockeying and host of others.[ads3]
Considered as one of the fastest growing young sportscasters in the Western Region, Solomon Amankwah is widely known for his spot-on interviews, commentary prowess, fact-based analysis, and his silky voice which attract many to listen to him when on radio.
He is currently the head of sports at Takoradi-based Kyzz FM and has been splendid since joining the station.[ads4]
He begun his broadcasting journey at Sekondi-based Radio Silver where he studied under ace sportscaster Stephen Kwame Yeboah popularly known as KY.
Solomon Amankwah then joined Atinka Media Village’s Ahotor FM in 2018 and later to Media General subsidiary in the Western Region Connect FM before joining Kyzz FM.[ads5]
