Astute radio show host, Nana Yaw Gyebi has been adjudged the radio personality of the year.
Nana Yaw Gyebi was named the radio personality of the year during the 2020 edition of the Western Region Radio and Television Awards night held on Saturday.[ads2]
The Western Region Radio and Television Personality Awards is organized by Ex-One Entertainment which seeks to honour hardworking media personalities in the Western Region from the area of sports, entertainment, disc jockeying and host of others.
Nana Yaw Gyebi who is currently with Connect FM, a subsidiary of Media General in the Western Region beat other notable nominees to win the enviable award.[ads3]
Expressing his appreciation, Nana Yaw Gyebi stated that, “The WRTP Radio personality of the year 2020 is your humble servant Nana yaw Gyebi of Connect FM. I thank God for how far He has brought me and many thanks to my family, friends, fans and to all the people who voted for me massively. God bless you. Still my best is yet to come.”
He is the host of the station’s midmorning programme dubbed Adwumapa Mber. He joined Connect FM in 2019 from Takoradi-based Goodnews FM.[ads5]
