Former first lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings has pulled out from the 2020 elections, Kyfilla.com has learnt.
Mrs. Agyeman-Rawlings who was contesting for the presidential seat on the ticket of the National Democratic Party (NDP) has reportedly informed the Electoral Commission of her decision.[ads2]
According to reports, this is as a result of the demise of her husband and former president of Ghana Jerry John Rawlings at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra on November 12, 2020.[ads3]
Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings is expected to address the media today where she will publicly announce her withdrawal from the elections.[ads5]
