Second lady, Samira Bawumia has urged Ghanaians not be swayed by the huge promises made by the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Dramani Mahama in his campaigns.
According to Samira Bawumia, Mr. Mahama has promised to create one million jobs for the youth when re-elected as the president of the republic, a thing he couldn’t do when in power.[ads2]
“When the youth and unemployed graduates demanded jobs when John Mahama was president, he told them he was not a magician to provide them jobs. Today, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has provided 100,000 of these youth jobs under the NABCO and today, the very person who said he was not a magician says re-elect him and he will provide one million jobs. Can he do it?”[ads3]
“Let us not be deceived. My question to him is if he knew how to create one million jobs, why didn’t he do it when he was in power? If the NDC is capable, why didn’t they do it in the eight years they were in power?” Mrs. Bawumia said when addressing the chiefs and people of Nsuta, Kwamang and Beposo constituency in the Ashanti Region.
She urged the constituents to look at the social intervention policies initiated by President Akufo-Addo and vote massively for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) to continue the good works.[ads5]
