The ace businessman who owns the leading steel manufacturing company in West Africa but situated in Ghana has urged Ghanaians to eschew violence and have it in mind that the nation outlive any politician, hence the need for every Ghanaian to have the interest of the country at heart.[ads2]
He conceded that this year’s elections will be a cagey one but despite the outcome, the peace that the country has been enjoying for ages should be maintained.
“As a businessman and an entrepreneur, we should not engage in politics but must maintained a conducive environment. The Ghanaian community is matured and I know they know who to choose to lead the country in the upcoming elections. I will say they should maintain the law and order and they must sure Ghana is the winner”, Mr. Thakwani said.[ads3]
With few days to the festive season in December and Ghana still recording cases of the devastating Coronavirus, Mr. Thakwani has urged Ghanaians to be cautious and adhere to the precautionary measures to ensure the country defeat the virus completely.
“As the festive season is coming, I will urge everyone to continue adhering to the Coronavirus protocols because the fight is not yet over. Ghana is still recording cases and Ghanaians have to be cautious especially during the festive season”
Meanwhile this year’s elections has been set for December 7 with twelve aspirants vying for the presidential seat including the sitting President Nana Akufo-Addo.
