Ghana Premier League giant, Asante Kotoko will begin the CAF Champions League campaign against Nouadhibou FC in Mauritania on Sunday.
The Porcupines face Nouadhibou FC in the first leg tie of the CAF Champions League prelims at the Stade Cheikha Bodiya in Nouakchott on Sunday evening.
Coach Maxwell Konadu and his chargesĀ will be looking forward for a positive result in Mauritania to make the second leg at the Accra Sports Stadium a mere formality.[ads2]
In a 4-4-2 formation, coach Maxwell Konadu is expected to name goalkeeper Kwame Baah in posts ahead of Razak Abalora and Danlad Ibrahim.
Christopher Nettey is favorite to make his debut by starting the right-back role ahead of Samuel Frimpong whiles Imoro Ibrahim take over the left-back position.
Due to the absence of Habib Mohammed, Yusuf Mubarik pair with Abdul Ganiyu looks highly possible despite Wahab Adams impressing at the team’s training sessions in Mauritania.[ads3]
Debutantes Kwame Adom Frimpong and Emmanuel Keyekeh will moderate the defensive midfield with Emmanuel Gyamfi and Godfred Asiamah on the flanks.
The attack will probably be Osman Ibrahim and in-form Kwame Opoku.
