Sportscaster, Solomon Amankwah has been handed a top role at Division Two League outfit Givova Sporting Academy.
The reigning Western Region sports presenter of the year has been appointed the Communication Director at Givova Sporting Academy after a successful agreement.[ads2]
Mr. Amankwah will now be heading the Communications department of the club considered as one of the well branded division two league club in the Western Region.
His appointment comes as no surprise considering his vast knowledge in the communication field.[ads3]
Solomon Amankwah has worked with number of radio stations in the Sekondi-Takoradi metropolis and has understudied top levelled sports broadcasters that the region has ever seen which includes Stephen Kwame Yeboah popularly referred to as “KY”, Amponsah Tabire and host of others.[ads4]
He started his broadcasting journey at Sekondi-based Radio Silver where he served as the deputy head of sports before joining Atinka Media Village’s Ahotor FM then later to Media General’s Connect FM and finally to Kyzz FM where he is now the head of sports after celebrated sportscaster PJ Mosey left the Takoradi-based radio station for Nhyira FM.
Solomon Amankwah was recently bestowed the Western Region sports presenter of the year honour during the 2020 edition of the Western Region Radio and Television Personality Awards.
