Election 2020: Guan District to vote in only Presidential election

Eligible voters in the Guan District in Oti Region will only vote in the presidential elections and not in the parliamentary according to the Electoral Commission.[ads2]

According to the Electoral Commission, voters in the Guan District are not permitted to participate in the Parliamentary elections in the 2020 December polls.[ads3]

This was contained in a statement from the Electoral Commission explaining that the decision has been taken due to the creation of Guan District impending the creation of the Guan constituency.[ads4]
