NDC parliamentary candidate for Ayawaso West Wugon, John Dumelo has written to the Electoral Commission requesting for recount of the ballots.
Dumelo has been defeated in the ongoing elections by the NPP’s Lydia Alhassan who prior to the elections was the Incumbent.[ads2[
Lydia Alhassan pulled 39,851 votes as against Dumelo’s 37,778 and the PNC’s 160 votes.The valid votes was 77,604 and 595 rejected ballots.[ads3]
But John Dumelo suspect an irregularities in the counting amd has requested for a recount.
