President Akufo-Addo has won the Central Region presidential votes according to the Electoral Commission.
President Akufo-Addo who is the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) defeated key competitor John Dramani Mahama of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).[ads2]
Akufo-Addo pulled 613,804 votes as against John Dramani Mahama’s 538,829.[ads3]
The Electoral Commission is still announcing the presidential results of the various sixteen regions.[ads5]
