President Akufo-Addo has appointed a fifteen-member transition team after re-elected as president of the republic for the second time.
The transition team has the Chief of Staff, Akosua Frema Osei-Opare as the chairperson.[ads2]
Senior Minister, Yaw Osafo Marfo as well as the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta have been included in the transition team by President Akufo-Addo.
This was contained in a release signed by Eugene Arhin who is the head of the communication directorate at the presidency.[ads3]
President Akufo-Addo was re-elected to lead the country for the second time in the just ended 2020 December polls, pulling 6,730,587 votes (51.3%) whiles competitor and flagbearer of the NDC John Dramani Mahama amassed 6,213,182 (47.3%).[ads4]
