The Head pastor of Power Embassy International Church, Prophet Elisha Osei Kofi has urged the NDC flagbearer John Dramani Mahama to accept the results of the 2020 elections for peace to prevail.
Mahama and the NDC have rejected the results of the 2020 December polls announced by the Electoral Commission chairperson Jean Mensa.[ads2]
Mr. Mahama pulled 6,213,182 votes of the 2020 December polls losing the contest to President Akufo-Addo who amassed 6,730,587 votes representing 51.3%
But speaking on Accra based Kingdom Plus FM, Prophet Elisha Osei Kofi has implored the NDC to allow peace to prevail or go to court if they see any irregularities in the results of the just ended elections.[ads3]
“The NDC has better chances in the 2024 elections and Mahama has allowed peace to prevail. If wants to correct some of the irregularities then he should go to court”, he said.
“Mahama has been through a lot so they should remember him in prayers. To lose two elections is not easy. Lordina Mahama must also pray very well for her husband”, Prophet Elisha Osei Kofi added.[ads5]
