The ruling New Patriotic Party has held a thanksgiving service following their victory in the just ended 2020 polls.
The party maintained the presidential seat for the second term after President Akufo-Addo pulled 6,730,587 votes (51.3%) whiles competitor and flagbearer of the NDC John Dramani Mahama amassed 6,213,182 (47.3%).[ads2]
The interdenominational service was held at the forecourt of the State House in Accra.
In attendance was the President-elect Nana Akufo-Addo, the Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and other top officials of the party.
