[ads3]The campaign manager of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Peter Mac Manu has rebuffed reports of him conceding that the just ended 2020 elections were rigged.
There were reports on social media that, Mr. Mac Manu has conceded that the 2020 December polls were rigged by the Electoral Commission of Ghana to favor his party, NPP.
But in a response, Peter Mac Manu has rebuffed the reportage, urging Ghanaians to disregard the unsubstantive reports on various social media platforms.[ads4]
According to Peter Mac Manu, the reportage is a figment of someone’s imaginative because the just ended elections were free and fair and President Akufo-Addo is the deserved winner.
His statement reads, “My attention has been drawn to a post on social media that I have conceded that the recent elections were rigged. I want to state clearly that mincing words that, I have not made such remarks”
“Anyone who reads it should disregard it because it’s fake and a figment of someone’s imagination. The recent elections were free and fair and have been confirmed by both CSOs and credible international observers”[ads1]
” Ghanaians have decided on Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as the President of Ghana. And we do not have time to waste with time wasters”, he added…
