Confederation of African Football [CAF] have accepted Nana Agyemang Badu II Park to host the group stages of the confederation cup on temporarily basis.
Contrary to earlier reports which flamed on the media suggesting that the home grounds for Ghana’s only representative in Africa, Aduana Stars have been rejected by CAF , news gathered divulges that, the venue as officially been declared to host the group stages of the competition.
www.kyfilla.com can confirm that inspection team from CAF landed at Dormaa few weeks ago after the team’s last game against Fosa Juniors from Madagascar where they told the management of team to work on some facilities which includes the expansion of the washroom, erupting of VIP car parks etc.
According to our sources, the team adhered to what they were told to do which has enabled CAF to accept the grounds to host the group stages of the competition on temporarily basis .
Aduana are in group A of the CAF Confederation Cup with the likes of Asec Mimosa from Ivory Coast, AS Vita Club from Dr. Congo and Raja Casablanca of Morocco.
The defending champions of the Ghana Premier League lost their first group stage game against Asec Mimosa 1:0 at away and will host Raja Casablanca at home at Nana Agyemang Badu II Park in Dormaa on 16th May, 2018.
