Former member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram constituency, Enoch Teye Mensah has been elected to serve as the Greater Accra representative on the Council of State.
The veteran politician was elected during an election held on Friday, February 12, 2021.[ads2]
Mr. Mensah had 58 votes out of the total 58 to win the race.
Before the election, the Greater Accra Region representative on the Council of State, Nii Kotei Dzani pulled out of the race alongside Charles Andrew Parker-Allotey.[ads3]
Only three candidates were left for the race of which ET Mensah came first ahead of Michael Kofi Mensah and John Mantse Akwetey..[ads5]
