Renowned pollster, Ben Ephson has said John Dramani Mahama is still the favorite candidate to lead the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2024 presidential elections.
According to Ephson, for John Mahama to accumulate over six million votes in the 2020 December polls shows that he is still popular among the Ghanaian populace and the right person in the NDC to lead the party in the 2024 elections.[ads2]
Speaking on Okay FM, the popular pollster indicated that even within the NDC, they know that John Mahama is the only person that can wrestle for power with the ruling New Patriotic Party in the next elections.[ads3]
“So for John Dramani Mahama to be able to do that indicates that he is still a popular figure in the country’s political landscape.
