Enterprising sportscaster, Solomon Amankwah has parted ways with Kyzz FM in Takoradi.
Popularly referred to as Superman, the knowledgeable sportscaster has left Kyzz FM after almost two years with the station.[ads2]
He joined Kyzz FM in July, 2019 after just two months at Kingdom FM, a Unique Kingdom Communications Limited subsidiary in Takoradi.
Solomon Amankwah made his resignation from Kyzz FM known in a post on Facebook which reads, “Thank You Kyzz fm for the Love and the Opportunity…..U gave me this and I’m much appreciative. Thank You”
According to reports murmuring, Solomon Amankwah who is the 2020 Western Region Radio and Television Awards sports presenter of the year is rejoining Ahotor FM, a subsidiary of Atinka Media Village.[ads3]
He had stints with Ahotor FM three years ago after leaving Sekondi-based Radio Silver where he was serving as the deputy head of sports and worked with ace sportscaster Stephen Kwame Yeboah.
Before his announcement, Solomon Amankwah was serving as the head of sports at Kyzz FM after the departure of ace sportscaster Moses Antwi Benefo (PJ Mozay) who is now with Nhyira FM in Kumasi.[ads4]
Solomon Amankwah has also worked with Connect FM of the Media General family in Takoradi aside Radio Silver, Ahotor FM, Connect FM and Kingdom FM.[ads5]
