The General Manager of Angel FM in Accra, Kwadwo Dickson has confirmed that Captain Smart, the host of the station’s morning show has been suspended.
According to Kwadwo Dickson, Captain Smart has been suspended by the owner of Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN) Dr. Kwaku Oteng.[ads2]
In a video trending on social media, Kwadwo Dickson explained that Captain Smart has been suspended for constantly attacking government officials including President Akufo-Addo, the Vice President – Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia, Inspector General of Police and Allan Kyeremanteng.[ads3]
Kwadwo Dickson indicated that Captain Smart sacking comes after refusing several advises from the owner of the media hub.
He said; “Its true that Captain Smart has been suspended by the owner of Angel Broadcasting Network for speaking against government officials such as President Akufo-Addo, Vice-President Dr. Bawumia, Allan Kyeremateng and the IGP.”[ads4]
“He (the CEO) advised him on several occasions but (Smart) refused to pay heed to the advice hence his suspension”, Kwadwo Dickson said on a show on Angel FM.
