Musician turned politician, Kwame A Plus has added his voice regarding the suspension of Captain Smart from Angel FM.
Captain Smart, a renowned broadcaster was asked to step aside by the owner of Angel Broadcasting Network Dr. Kwaku Oteng for constantly attacking government officials on air.[ads2]
The General Manager of Angel FM in Accra, Kwadwo Dickson made this known to the public in a live programme on Thursday.
Mr. Dickson explained that Captain Smart had to be suspended after several advises from the owner of the station to desist from attacking government officials.[ads3]
He furthered explained that Dr. Kwaku Oteng suspended Captain Smart for insulting President Akufo-Addo, Vice President Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia, the Inspector General of Police and Trade Minister Allan Kyeremanteng.
Reacting to the suspension, Kwame A Plus said wrote that, “It’s good. Next time he won’t carry a bag cement to them to build a cathedral”.[ads4]
The latter part of A Plus comment comes following Captain Smart support for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) towards the building of cathedral in the country.
The ace broadcaster in an old photo circulating on social media was seen carrying a bag of cement to the construction site for the planned cathedral.[ads5]
