Interim Management Committee Chairman for Division One League side Sekondi Hasaacas, Samuel Arbuah Essoun has appealed to the corporate bodies and opinion leaders in Western region to aid the team from sinking.
According to the IMC Chairman, the 1931 club is in serious financial crisis and if the corporate bodies doesn’t come to their aid the team will be relegated to Division Two.
“Am the only sponsor for the club. I need a helping hand from corporate bodies and opinion leaders in this region. The team cannot depend on me alone for survival. They should save us from sinking”, He told Sekondi based Radio Silver Sports dubbed “Kick Off Morning” in an interview.
However, our checks reveals that the team have not been able to pay their head coach Joe Agyemang Jnr for the past 16 months and the players have also not received anything since the start of this season.
Sekondi Hasaacas are now placed 12th on the Division One League Log [Zone Two] with 13 points after 12 matches played.
