Tough-talking CEO for Techiman Elevn Wonders Takyi Arhin ”Thunder” has divulge his readiness to support the Referees Association Of Ghana [RAG] decision of boycotting the Ghana Premier League following the Disciplinary Committee [DC] of the Ghana Football Association[GFA] ruling on the Elmina Sharks and Medeama case.
According to the renowned football administrator, the ruling of the Disciplinary Committee on the Elmina Sharks- Medeama case is bogus and he will support the decision of RAG to boycott the league.
“I will for once support the referees decision if they boycott the league because of the DC’s bogus ruling on the Elmina Sharks, Medeama case”, He said.
Joe Debrah, Chairman of RAG descended heavily on the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association over their ruling on the Elmina Sharks and Medeama SC Week 8 clash – stating that they will boycott the remaining games in the ongoing Zylofon Cash Premier League.
The Match Day 8 clash between Elmina Sharks and Medeama SC at the Ndoum Stadium ended abruptly after centre referee Nuhu Liman was assaulted by the home fans- which left him with a gush injury on his head.
However, the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association ordered for the replay of the game at a neutral ground.
