Retired Ghanaian referee, William Agbovi in an interview has revealed that most Ghanaian referees won’t be spared in yet-to-be premiered Anas Aremeyaw Anas ”Number 12” video expose’.
According to him, he has already been told that some referees were involved in some level of bribery scandal and have been captured by the yet-to-released-expose’ but maintained that he can only speak for himself and cannot prove whether any referee has been influenced to accept bribe from anyone.
He continued that he won’t be surprised to see over hundred referees captured in the aforesaid video since the they all human and not angels.
“I will not be surprised if more than hundred referees are captured in the Anas Video”, He said.
“They have already said that referees are involved, It can be more than hundred and I won’t be surprised because they are all human and not angels. Although am with them, I can’t prove whether any referee has been influenced to accept bribe from anyone.
However, the retired referee concluded that if the video captures him, it doesn’t mean he has taken bribe from someone unless the video finds him in such position
”But if am in the video that doesn’t mean I have taken bribe from someone but it should rather capture me taking bribe”, He added.
Meanwhile, the Anas video will be premiered on 6th June, 2018 at the Accra International Conference Center.
