Asante Kotoko legendary defender Godfred Yeboah has passed away after a short illness.
The unfortunate demise of the former defender was announced by Asante Kotoko on Tuesday, August 3, 2021.[ads2]
The statement from Kotoko reads, “We’re saddened to hear of the passing of Godfred Yeboah who represented us from 2001 to 2009.”[ads3]
“His passion for the club was undeniable and he will be missed.We send our condolences to his family, friends and everyone who cherished him.”
Popularly referred to as TV3, Godfred Yeboah also represented the Ghana senior male national team, Black Stars.[ads5]
