A non-governmental organization in the United States of America, Portable, Practical Educational Preparation (PPEP) have donated footballs equipments and jerseys to Western Region lower division outfit Fijai United Soccer Academy on Monday, August 9, 2021.
This is to aide the club to identify, nurture and develop talents in the Western Region and beyonds.
The foreign Organization has for some years partnered the Western Region’s talented side in the area of education, development and human empowerment that has resulted in transforming the lives of many players.
Recent activities of both PPEP and Fijai United Soccer Academy includes donation of COVID-19 related items to some communities in the Essikado-Ketan Constituency, education on diabetes and hepatitis and its prevention and also granting of scholarship to some students who serve as players of the team.[ads4]
Other players have been admitted on some apprenticeship modules that could serve as job creation in the near future with PPEP as the main architect.
Receiving the items, Mr. Jacob Wemegah who is the President of Fijai United Soccer Academy thanked the country Director of PPEP Ghana Mr. Walter and the Global PPEP team for the gifts and also assured the donors that the equipment will serve its intended purpose.
