The Western Regional Football Association has announced date and venue for the upcoming Super Middle league.
According to the chairman of the association, Simon Ehomah, the eight-team competition will be held at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park in Ayinase from Thursday, September 16 to Sunday, September 19, 2021.[ads2]
He explained that the pre technical meeting will be held on Thursday at 5:00PM at the CAM Park before the competition kick start on Friday.
On the modalities of the competition, Mr. Ehomah said it will be a knockout basis with the winner, aside qualifying for the division one league, will get a giant trophy for keep while the first runner up will go home with a silver trophy plus medals.[ads3]
The Vice Chairman of the competition’s department of the association, Dr. Pearson, disclosed that there were two venues before department but after a thorough deliberations chose CAM Park.
Meanwhile, clubs like Sekondi Eleven Wise, Bis Paradise, Adjoafuaman, Nkwantaman, Akrapong United, Aboi Young Stars, Holy Stars and Great Islamicans have all qualified for the competition.[ads5]
