Medeama Sporting Club talisman Akwasi Donsu have signed a new contractual terms with the team which will keep him at the club till 2020 with an option to extend for a further year.

Akwasi Donsu joined the Tarkwa based team from Berekum Arsenals in 2013 and has been very instrumental for the two-time FA Cup winners.
The free kick expert has been in a blistering form this season for the Yellow and Mauve, scoring 7 goals at the end of the first round of the Zylofon Cash Premier League.

However, after putting pen to paper for the Premier League leaders, Akwasi Donsu said
“Am delighted to have signed a new contract.Medeama is home and I’m happy to have committed my long-term future to the club.This is a club with great ambitions and the management and fans have been extremely supportive.To be able to feature at the top level with this great club means a lot to me, thanks to the fans for the continuous support”
The Chief Executive Officer for the 2016 CAF Confederation Cup campaigners James Essilfie also added that
“We are delighted to have renewed his contract and everybody is happy at tha club. He has shown tremendous commitment and dedication and that excites us. We believe the new deal will spur him on to continue his fine performances for us. He has a great future for us”
