Ghana Premier league heavyweight, Asante Kotoko are reportedly set to offload over eight players ahead of the upcoming league season.
The Porcupines who lost last season’s Ghana Premier league title to bitterest rivals Hearts of Oak are structuring their squad for the next league season.
According to close source, the management of the Kumasi-based club will be meeting the players to discuss with them their future before the commencement of the 2021/22 league season.[ads2]
It is believed the likes of Latif Anabila could be leaving Asante Kotoko after a meeting with the management team in the next coming days.
Speedy winger and current skipper of the club, Emmanuel Gyamfi could also be leaving barring any last-minute change.

Another player whose name is reportedly on the list is the versatile Habib Mohammed who was spectacular last season for the Porcupines.[ads3]
Already the likes of goalkeeper Felix Annan, winger Augustine Okrah, striker Naby Keita and defender Wahab Adams have left Kotoko as preparations begin ahead of the commencement of the 2021/22 league season.
The Porcupine Warriors have made newest additions in the ongoing local transfer window as Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum takes over the mantle as the new head coach after the sacking of Portuguese tactician Mariano Barreto.[ads4]
The Porcupines will have a new technical bench next season that comprise of David Ocloo and John Eduarfo as assistant coaches with Dr. Prosper Narteh as the head coach.
Kotoko have currently signed over seven players in the ongoing transfer window that comprise of Maxwell Agyemang, Richmond Lamptey, Clinton Opoku, Isaac Oppong, Samuel Appiah, Richard Boadu, Samuel Boateng and Augustine Agyapong.[ads5]
