Popular sports journalist, Kwaku Adjei Richard has passed away according to media reports.
The industrious broadcast sports journalist is reported to have passed on earlier this morning whilst undergoing treatment after he was involved in a terrific accident.[ads2]
It would be recalled that newly promoted division one league side Baffour Soccer Academy team were involved in a fatal accident on their way to Accra for their Pre-season training on Monday, 25th October 2021.
Kwaku Adjei Richard, the club’s administrator was part of those who sustained severe injuries and were rushed to the hospital for treatment.
Unfortunately, the Sunyani-based Service Radio head of sports couldn’t emerged victorious in the fight against death hence giving up the ghost on early Saturday morning.[ads3]
Until his demise, Kwaku Adjei was the Head of Sports with Service Radio and senior member of the Baffour Soccer Academy based in Sunyani.[ads4]
A senior sports broadcaster and a former colleague with Metro FM, Jones Kwabena Nfodwo made the sad announcement on his facebook wall moments ago to confirm the news.
“Sad News This Morning Kwaku Why Hmmmmmmm I Remember Our Story In Kumasi With Metro FM RIP Bro Till We Meet Again.”
Kwaku Adjei Richard previously had stints with Parrot FM, Ark FM, Space FM (all in Sunyani), Metro FM (Kumasi) Spice FM (Takoradi) and just recently with Service Radio (Sunyani).[ads5]
