According to the former Black Stars striker, the deal needs to be investigate because there were some doubt by Ghanaians in that sponsorship deal and also the clubs were not privy to the contractual terms in the said deal.
“I want the government to delve deep into the GLO sponsorship deal, some of us were having our doubt and also the then Premier League clubs were not able to see what was stated in that contract”, he told Kwame Yeboah, host of Sekondi based Radio Silver Sports.
The Ghana Football Association which was then headed by Kwesi Nyantakyi , signed a five years deal with GLO Mobile Ghana in 2009 after the collapse of the Onetouch sponsorship.
