The Executive Committee of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Sekondi of the Western Region has suspended top official Osumanu Ibrahim popularly known as Sansiro.
Mr. Ibrahim who is the assembly member for Assamansudu Electoral Area in the Sekondi constituency has been suspended indefinitely following an unpatriotic behavior which is inimical to the party’s constitution.[ads2]
A statement from the party indicate that Osumanu Ibrahim has been suspended after a petition dated September 23, 2021 was issued against his unpatriotic behavior which goes contrary to the party’s constitution.
And after a thorough enquiry by the Disciplinary Committee of the NPP, Osumanu Ibrahim was found liable of the unpatriotic conduct hence the decision to suspend him indefinitely as enshrined in Article 4 , Section 7, subsection 1g of the party’s constitution.[ads3]
“The Executive Committee has suspended him indefinitely to instill discipline in the party”, a portion of the statement from the party reads.
He has been required to submit to the party’s office in Sekondi membership card and other properties in his possession which belongs to the party, and has been banned from participating in any party related activities.
