A top member of the NDC in the Ashanti Region, Alhaji Saani Senior has called on the NPP to maintain Bernard Antwi Boasiako popularly known as Chairman Wontumi as the party’s chairman in the region.
According to him, Chairman Wontumi is the best candidate to rub shoulders with the NDC and must be retained if the NPP want to maintain the one million votes they garnered in the 2020 elections.[ads2]
Despite the NPP losing four seats in the Ashanti Region in the 2020 elections, Alhaji Saani Senior believes Chairman Wontumi did a great job and must continue serving as the party’s regional chairman.
In a quote ascribed by 3news, Alhaji Saani Senior said, “NDC supports Wontumi because he gave a good show in the 2020 elections,” he said.
“We shall do everything possible to ensure Wontumi wins the chairmanship position next year,” Alhaji Saani added..[ads5]
