The Youth and Sports Minister, Honorable Isaac Asiamah will meet FIFA in Zurich- Switzerland tomorrow 19th June, 2018 for discussions on the recent development in the Ghanaian football and also the possible sanctions that may be incurred on Ghana following the government decision of dissolving the Ghana Football Association.
Reports that www.kyfilla.com gathered earlier indicates that FIFA are insisting to meet the government delegation only with GFA representative as FIFA forbids government interference in sports.
With these, the government have named the defunct Ghana Football Association general secretary Ike Addo and the Protocol Officer Alex Asante to be part of the delegation to meet FIFA tomorrow 19th June, 2018 at Zurich.
Sources also reveals that some legislators will travel with the delegation to meet FIFA and explain the law backing the government decision of dissolving the Ghana FA.
Meanwhile, the government have placed ten days ban on the Ghana Football Association to carry out any activities whereas the former president of the association Kwesi Nyantakyi has been banned 90 days by FIFA following some corruption allegations mounted against him .
