One of the contestants in the 2021 edition of the National Science and Maths Quiz final, Francisca Lamini of Keta Senior High Technical School (KETASCO) is grabbing all the attention despite her school losing the trophy to Prempeh College.
Even though her school placed third in the contest, her outstanding performance throughout the competition has gotten the attention of many both home and abroad.[ads2]
Ms Lamini formed a solid team with the amazing Bright Senyo Gadzo and James Lutterodt but lost the trophy to Prempeh College who have now won for the fifth time.
Francisca Lamini has become the first female contestant to reach the final of the competition in the last eight years and the first female contestant from the Volta Region since the inception of the competition.[ads3]
But did you know that Francisca Lamini is a member of the Church of Pentecost in the Sogakope District??
Another fact is, Lamini is also the President of the Virgins Club and Pentecost Students Association ( PENSA) on the Keta Senior High School campus. Aside that, she is a prayer warrior and a dedicated religious individual.[ads5]
