He also assured the airline’s team that the items would be used for the benefit of the students.
Crystal Galaxy College is dedicated to training men and women who have a strong desire and passion to apply their knowledge in the aviation, maritime, hospitality, business, and media industries in Africa and around the world. Dynamic, professional lecturers and management staff are always available to help and support students with their academic and social needs.
Their vision and goal is to become a leader in the educational industry in Ghana, as well as in Africa and around the world, by providing quality education to deserving populations through creativity and dynamism.
The educational institution also places a premium on producing devout, well-rounded leaders, tour executives, media analysts, and entrepreneurs in the job market who will meet the challenges of our time and be positive influences in our society.
Mr. John Ashong-Mettle, Director of Cargo Service, stated, “Earlier this year, the airline collaborated with Network for Assin Development to donate building materials comprised of blocks and cement to Assin Brofoyedur M/A Basic School in the Assin Central Municipality in the Central region.” The donation was intended to assist in rehabilitating the school building, which collapsed due to a heavy downpour some time ago.”
He said, “Goldstar Air’s goal is to improve the lives of Ghanaians and also contribute to the growth of the Ghanaian economy by making international travel inexpensive and accessible, as well as providing employment opportunities and aviation-related training to Ghanaians, particularly the youth.
“As a Ghanaian registered airline, Goldstar Air plans to utilize the country’s status as the Gateway to West Africa to develop the West Africa market and adopt the right systems that could drive trade and tour operations beyond the West Africa market.
“To ensure that our passengers can transport enough luggages for their personal use, Goldstar Air provides a total of sixty-nine (69) kilograms per passenger, three-piece baggage allowance with a hand luggage allowance of no more than ten kilograms. This is one example of how important we believe it is to put a smile on our guests’ faces as they leave our offices and aircrafts.[ads2]
“The airline crew will be selling made in Ghana goods and promoting Ghana tourist sites on board. You can also sign up for the Goldstar Air Frequent Flyer miles called “Chalewote” card which means “Let’s Go Together” in Ghanaian local dialect, and can earn our loyal customers free tickets to any destination of your choice, when you fly on our business or economy class seats, which will earn you per mile.”
The presentation was witnessed by Mr. Edmund Lamptey (Executive Assistant), Mr. Charles Nettey (Airport Manager), Ms Excel Norman (Cabin Crew), Ms Rachael Quaynor (Cabin Crew) and Mr. Abraham Armah (Cabin Crew) as well as management and students of Cystal Galaxy College.
