A taxi driver has allegedly committed suicide while in police cells in Sekondi.
According to Nhyiraba Paa Kwesi Simpson of Connect FM, the deceased identified as Brother Kweku reportedly knocked down a police officer on Christmas eve and was detained.[ads2]
His lifeless body was found in the cells on Saturday, December 25, 2021.[ads3]
What led to the tragic incident remains unknown but it is believed that deceased used his pair of jeans trousers to commit the suicide.
The body has since been deposited at the ENRH Morgue for autopsy.
