American club New Mexico United have announced the acquisition of Hearts of Oak defender Raddy Ovouka.
The Congolese left-back has joined the American side on a year lone deal after spectacular performance for Hearts of Oak in the Ghana Premier League.[ads2]
A statement from Hearts of Oak reads, “Accra Hearts of Oak has agreed with American based club, New Mexico United to transfer defender, Raddy Ovouka to them on a 1-year loan deal.”
Ovouka was instrumental for Hearts of Oak last season where he helped the team to win double to halt their eleven year trophy drought.[ads3]
Ovouka joined the reigning Ghana Premier League champions as agree agent in 2018 after a successful trial.
His outstanding form for Hearts of Oak earned him invitations to the Congolese national team for the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.[ads5]
