The Medical Superintendent of the Axim Government Hospital, Dr Jerry James Abobrah has testified that all tests carried on Josephine Panyin Mensah, the woman who was allegedly kidnapped in Takoradi, was not pregnant.
Dr James Abobrah was the first doctor to examine the victim when she was first found in Axim after her disappearance.[ads2]
He told the Takoradi Harbour Circuit Court A presided by His Lordship, Michael Kwodjoe Ampadu, that all tests conducted on the victim showed that Mrs. Panyin Mensah was a healthy, non-pregnant and pre-menopausal woman.
Dr Abobrah told the court that Mrs Panyin Mensah’s breast showed no sign that she was pregnant.[ads3]
He said this when himself alongside Michael Prah, the carpenter who found the victim at Axim, and one Ebenezer Nyame Ayeh, a tailor who saw Mrs Panyin Mensah at the Carpenter’s shop, testified before the circuit court today, Thursday, January 13, 2022.
So far five persons have testified before the court with the case now adjourned to January 20, 2022.
