The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has appointed Mas-Ud Didi Dramani and George Boateng as Black Stars new assistant coaches.
The duo have been appointed to assist former Ghana player Otto Addo who now takes over as the Black Stars head coach after the sacking of Serbian tactician Milovan Rajevac.[ads2]
There were earlier reports that Otto Addo and Ibrahim Tanko are favorite for the Black Stars assistant coach role with former Newcastle United manager Chris Hughton to serve as the head coach.
But upon further deliberations by the Ghana FA Executive Committee, Chris Hughton will now serve as the Black Stars technical advisor with Otto Addo to the lead the technical team of Didi Dramani and George Boateng.[ads3]
Didi Dramani is an experienced Ghanaian tactician who has had stint with Asante Kotoko, Black Queens and just recently with Danish giants FC Nordsjaelland.
George Boateng on the other hand is a Ghanaian born Dutch international who is currently the head coach of Aston Villa U-23 and formerly worked with Blackburn Rovers. [ads4]
The four man team has been put together to take charge of the two matches against rivals Nigeria.”
The Black Stars will take on the Super Eagles at the Cape Coast stadium on March 24 before travelling to Nigeria for the 2nd leg at the Abuja Sports stadium on Sunday, March 27, 2022.[ads5]
