Enterprising broadcaster, Naomi Afriyie Nyanor is close to joining Takoradi-based Skyy Power FM as the new morning show host.
Kyfilla.com can exclusively report that the eloquent Afriyie Nyanor is on the verge of closing a deal with the management of Skyy Power FM for the vacant morning show seat.
Skyy Power FM- the first private radio station in the Western Region has mounted an unease search for a new morning show host and head of the news department as Samuel Kojo Brace heads to Multimedia Group’s Joy FM.
Kojo Brace has left Skyy Power FM as the morning show host to continue the journey at Joy FM after tendering his resignation letter to the management of the West Fijai-based radio station earlier this month.
Naomi Afriyie Nyanor is currently the morning show host of Bogoso-based Trinity FM and could be replacing Kojo Brace barring any last minute change.
The former Fact FM broadcaster has defeated competition from Ahoto FM’s Kojo Amoasi who was a top candidate on the Skyy Power FM wishlist.
Should the deal materialized, Naomi Afriyie Nyanor will become the first ever female presenter to serve as host of Skyy Power FM’s Jolly Breakfast show – a program which has had astute broadcasters like Bob Gee, Winston Kofi Amoah, Philip Osei Bonsu, Nhyiraba Paa Kwesi Simpson and others as host.
