Versatile broadcaster, Macall Mensah otherwise known as the ‘ TheAxeman’ has joined Beach FM in Takoradi of the Western Region.
The flamboyant Macall Mensah has joined the Focus 1 Media brand as the programs manager instead of the initial station manager position as reported by Kyfilla.com few days ago.
The outspoken broadcaster has switched to the Effia-based radio station, owned by astute businessman and media personality Kwame Adu Mantey, after leaving Global Media Alliance’s YFM in Takoradi.
Macall Mensah holds an undergraduate degree from Pentecost University where he studied Bsc Business Administration with a major in Marketing. He is also an old student of Adisadel College.
Through the years he has worked as a Sports Journalist for Melody FM for four years, before he had a short stint as a Sport Pundit with Empire Fm, and finally moving to the Global Media Alliance’s YFM in Takoradi.
Before leaving YFM, the award-winning Journalist was the station’s head of sports and entertainment show host. He’s regarded as one of the top brains in Western Region showbiz industry.
He is currently the head of communications for former Ghana Premier League Champions Sekondi Hasaacas.
Focus 1 Media Group are the operators of Spice FM, Beach FM, Orange FM and Pluzz FM.
