Business development manager of Samartex Fc, Paul Anyaba has claimed the Samraboi based club have the best of management and technical team in the division one league of Ghana football.
Paul, who formerly worked with Elmina Sharks and Skyy Fc before moving to Samartex was talking on how the club secured qualification to Ghana’s elite football division.
He claimed the vase rich in experience of their technical team is one that can’t be compared to any of the teams in the division.
“It was simple, we did excellent recruitment to all levels. If you look at the technical setup of Samartex, there’s no team in zone 2 that can match the club when it comes to quality of players, exposure and experience.
At the management level, we have a 15 member management team and also 11 member board. If you take myself, Alex Eshun and Edmund Ackah and then you compare it to all the other competitors, you will realize Samartex is clearly ahead of everyone.
We recruited 3 head coaches of other clubs including Henry Wellington who was head coach of Nzema Kotoko, Felix Tamakloe formerly of Karela and Nasam Abdul who was head coach of Accra Young Wise and even our goal keeper is a licensed coach.
I don’t think there’s any division one club in Ghana that has such quality on their bench” he told beach fm.
Samartex secured qualification from the division one zone 2 this weekend after drawing goalless away to Swedru All blacks. With 3 games to end the season, Samartex are top of zone 2 with 59 points. This is the clubs first taste of Ghana’s premier league after 26yrs.
