The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has held a day training workshop for its communicators in the Western Region.
The training workshop held at the Anemens Hotel in Takoradi on May 28 was to enlightened the communicators on how to propagate the NDC agenda ahead of the 2024 polls.
The National Communication officer of the party, Sammy Gyamfi, when speaking at the training, touched on modern communication strategies the communicators must embrace to enhance their skills in delivering the party’s ambition to the Ghanaian populace.
The astute legal practitioner also entreated the communicators to be on top of issues.
Former Deputy Minister of Communication, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, on his part, uprooted the inconsistencies the ruling government has been exhibiting particularly with regards to the economy.
Adding his voice was the Western Regional communications officer of the party, Richard Kirk Mensah who admonished the communicators to keep on with their commitment to the party as they quest to make a return to power in 2024.
Over one hundred and fifty communicators from the seventeen constituencies in the Western region attended the workshop.
Present at the training were; Nana Toku who is the regional chairman of the party, Kofi Totobi Quakyi – a former National Seurity Minister and Akwasi Opong-Fosu – a former Minister of local governance.
Other dignitaries were Isaac Adjei Mensah – the MP for Wassa East and former Deputy Minister of Roads and highway, Emelia Arthur – a former Deputy Regional Minister alongside other regional executives.
The one-day workshop was themed “VICTORY 2024, A COLLECTIVE EFFORT OF ALL COMMUNICATORS.”
