Enterprising broadcaster, George Ferguson Laing known in the media circles as Hypeman Ferggy has joined Global Media Alliance subsidiary, YFM – Takoradi.
The indefatigable Ferggy has been snapped up by the Global Media Alliance brand located inside the Takoradi Mall.
As one of the hottest young broadcasters in the Western Region, Ferggy has joined YFM after leaving Radio Premier – a Takoradi Technical University radio.
Details of his role at YFM is yet to land on the desk of Kyfilla.com but we understand Ferggy will be commencing a new programme on YFM very soon.
Before switching camp to YFM, Hypeman Ferggy, also an event MC, was the host of Radio Premier drive show for six years.
Ferggy started his radio journey after high school with Melody FM, where he was a DJ and producer on the Drive show, working with media personalities like Bushke and Sqny all of YFM currently.
After Melody FM, Ferggy moved to Focus 1 Media where he worked as a DJ and co host of the drive show on Radio Maxx for almost a year.
He joined Radio Premier in 2017 after a split between Radio Maxx and Beach FM
At Radio Premier, Hypeman Ferggy served as the programs and events manager and also the host of the station’s drive time from 2017 to 2022.
He was a co-host of last year’s Western Music Awards red carpet alongside Beach FM’s Akosua Tilly.
Aside radio, Ferggy is currently the in-house hypeman for Nhyiraba Kojo’s NK City pub in Takoradi.
